P A N I C A T T A C K | are two of those words that you may have heard carted around casually in everyday conversation. For times when you felt really anxious or couldn’t quite catch your breath. But true panic attacks can be incredibly frightening and disabling experiences. They can happen time and time again and it is not always easy to predict when the next one can come on. You may feel sick during them, find it hard to catch your breath, actually be sick, feel dizzy, with pains in your chest, tingling in your fingers and toes and you may feel like you are going to die unless you escape from the place that you are in at that time. They can last anything from a few minutes to ten minutes but for the person going through it feels like an eternity. They can happen anything from once a week to once every few hours. You may start to avoid people or places that seem to bring on your panic attacks, so it can be incredibly isolating and may affect your family relationships, friendships or working life. For many, there is often no trigger to them which makes it all the more frustrating. Often panic attacks and the impact they have on you may make you vulnerable to developing other mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. #panicattack #panic #panicdisorder #mentalhealth#mentalhealthawareness #mentalwellness#mentalwellbeing #wellbeing #wellness#community #mind #lifestyle #healthylifestyle#parentlife #mum #dad #mumlife #dadlife#mummyblogger #instamum #motherofboys#motherofgirls #fatherofboys #fatherofgirls#healthymind #mindset #lifestyle #wednesday
