EXPRESS THE STRESS
For many reasons, it can be hard to let others know how we’re feeling. To tell them that we’re struggling, or having a difficult time. It’s scary to let ourselves be so vulnerable, not knowing how they might react. We often worry that we’ll be burdening them. Sometimes, we may not know exactly what’s bothering us, or have the words to express it properly. It can be so helpful to get it off our chest though. If speaking face to face is difficult, we could try emailing them, or phoning instead. Even if we don’t feel able to discuss it with anyone else at all, things like journalling, painting/drawing and writing can all help us express the stress.
