TIS NOT THE SEASON WHERE WE ALL MUST FEEL THE SAME .
🌱We are all different and all at different stages of learning, of life, some have never lost anyone, some have, some have very happy memories of Christmas, some have not.
🌱However you feel right now, it’s ok to be happy, or sad, angry, excited or not, whether it’s Christmas or not. Everyday is a blessing even when you’re feeling an emotion that’s hard.
🌱This is the day that id like you to put Christmas down for 5 minutes, its a celebration of humaness, and guess what? You’re human!
Try to allow your feelings, if you’re sad let it out, it does feel like you’ll explode and sometimes die from letting sadness out but it’s not what happens, you’ll cry for as long as you need to and as many times as you need and it doesn’t last, the length depends on how long you’ve held it in and how deep you felt it.
If you’re angry try not to take it out on others, punch a pillow, scream into it, you’ll probably find after you’ll need to cry, anger is normally covering up that you feel hurt. Allowing the whole process will help you release and heal from it to help you to feel better, you do feel better afterwards.
None of that’s ‘I’m a faliure for feeling how I feel’ no ‘I’ve been through alot, ive felt alot and I’m helping myself to feel better’.
🌱After allowing yourself to let out a tough emotion, Do something you love just after, something that brings a joy that costs nothing, it’s often the little things that bring the biggest joy.
🌱BEGINNING OF HEALING
‘Today I say I’m human, I allow myself to feel, the sadness, the anger etc. but I don’t have to keep it, it’s been with me for far too long, and today I let it go! There is much more happiness I’ve yet to have and I will 🤗 I love myself enough to let it pass, there are many years to come, i commit to helping myself feel better’.
