🌱If you have an emotional responce from other people’s words, they have the power.
.
🌱I had always been upset by others, my family would say things that were uncalled for and nasty, kids would be shitty at school either I’d get bullies or I’d witness others.
.
🌱Labels sensitive! Their words upset me and in their eyes my reaction was wrong.
.
🌱It wasn’t wrong, I was defending, i was calling for justice, that people should empathise the way I do.
.
👌I still beleive that BUT!!!!
.
🌱I was exhausted, I was suffering other people’s actions were effecting my life the way i felt, my energy was on the floor, I felt run over by a bulldozer everyday.
.
🦋Gad, panic, agoraphobia was the kick start to waking up, I had to protect myself.
.
❤❤New mindset ❤❤
.
My mind and body I am responsible for, my words and my actions I have the control over and also my reaction.
.
I now see other people’s words as not an attack even when directed at me but rather their problem their responsibility. I have a choice to react or not, I choose not to, I choose not to have my space invaded, my energy brought down, I am no longer defending but observing. It’s not easy and I do break sometimes, go back to my old ways automatically. Then I feel bad, tense, anxious, that person’s vibes I’ve now carried away with me. .
I quickly become aware and tell myself this anger this energy is not yours, I immediately begin to calm….when I step back I am able to show kindness.
