C H R I S T M A S F E A R | has well and truly set in for individuals I see in clinic and with December fast approaching and the big day less than 5 weeks away the pressure is real. There can often be an expectation that we have to be seen to be doing it all, to have the perfect Instagram Christmas, to see people we spend the other 364 days trying to avoid. So how do you strike the balance?I think planning is essential and having a think about what I like to call your Christmas stress ‘hot spots’. What are the things that are likely to stress you out on the big day? Plan ahead, a week if not a couple of weeks in advance – I imagine most of us will have some idea already of the things that are likely to make us feel more stressed and anxious.
