Instead, invest your time in learning when they are likely to be triggered, allowing them to exist, but containing them so they don’t overpower your life. .
If you can accept that you are a human being who has emotions, you can learn to accept that the existence of an emotion is not a demonstration of your ‘stupidity’ ‘weakness’ or ‘failure’, but simply the evidence that you are human.
