Repost 📷 @glitterygnomie – It’s ok to feel angry • #dbtdrawings • anger is always spoken about as a negative, as a ‘bad’ emotion. But what is bad about something that communicates something to us? Anger can us that someone we care about is being threatened, that an important goal has been blocked, that we are feeling physical or emotional pain, or that things haven’t turned out as they expected. It’s all about how we express anger. It’s not about suppressing it or turning it in on ourselves. Anger is good if we let ourselves feel it and manage it appropriately.
